The chemical spill in Ohio river should in no way enter our water shed. We pull water from the Coal river which feeds into the Kanawha, which in turn feeds into the Ohio river. The spill is connected to the Ohio river. We also are one of the few plants in the state that have a source water monitoring panel that analyzes the river water constantly.

The City of St. Albans will be conducting its annual hydrant flushing program. This will take place September 12th thru September 23rd. During this time you may experience low pressure or discolored water for short periods of time. Thank you for your patience.

MS4 STORM WATER LABOR 1

The City of St. Albans M.U.C. is accepting applications for a full time MS4 Storm Water Labor 1. This is a hands-on position maintaining, repairing, and replacing storm water drains. Position requirements include graduation from a standard senior or vocational high school, experience in field work, and the ability to work with others. CDL license is required, preferably a Class A level. Pre-employment drug test and random testing after employment are required. Salary commensurate upon city scale and experience. Excellent benefit package. A 6 month probationary period is required. Interested parties must complete a City of St. Albans application, which can be obtained at and must be returned to the City of St. Albans MUC located at 1499 MacCorkle Ave., St. Albans, West Virginia, 25177 by 4:00 pm, June 17, 2019.
