Hoping many more original Yes votes have the same internal deliberation and/or listen to their constituents as Mr. Chittenden

Proud to have the support of Terry & Carrie Parent. I’m running to work for the hard working people of St. Albans - and among other things - fight against policies that would raise the cost to heat their homes.

The biggest issue has heard on the campaign trail (year after year) is that Vermont is not affordable. From taxing Social Security and military benefits, to bill after bill of new taxes and fees on working Vermonters, we need balance in Montpelier. Joe Luneau and I pledge to be St. Albans Affordability Team - working beyond party politics and for the people of St. Albans. Please make sure you vote on or before November 8th for Casey Toof and Joe Luneau for State Representative.

🚨🚨🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT🚨🚨🚨 We were lucky to receive the first endorsement ever from Sophie Parent today while visiting with her grandparents on Lake Street. Sophie is no stranger to the legislature though.

I pledged to you yesterday that, while my opponent may choose to disparage me, I choose to stay positive. I will not be responsible for bringing the level of discourse in our community any closer to the type of harmful rhetoric that is destroying our democracy across the nation. If some choose to double down on snark, personal attacks and negative politics, I'll stand against it and take the high road. I'll take the shots, point them out when necessary and stay above the fray. I'll run every day with honor and integrity because that's what St. Albans deserves, that's what the important issues at hand deserve, that's the role model my children deserve and what this community instilled in me.

If that means I lose this election, so be it.

The respect of my neighbors, family and friends who stand with me every day, is worth more than one election. Don't be mistaken, it would be my honor to continue to represent you in the State House, but not if it means running a negative campaign.

I ask you to stand with me against these personal attacks and petty politics. No matter what, I'll continue to stand up for each of you, no matter who you are or how you got here, Independent, Democrat or Republican, to do the work of the people in a way that makes all of us proud to call St. Albans home.

Sincerely.
Rep. Casey J. Toof

I’ve been spending a lot of time west of Federal Street during this campaign. It’s an important part of our city that often gets over looked. For a long time it was the heart of our industrial base and a place where some of the hardest working members of our community still call home today. I snapped this picture this afternoon. It’s been a pleasure getting out and seeing so many of you over the last few months. Even when it’s raining or cold, the support and momentum we’re building towards November makes me eager to get back at it the next day. I’m proud to be from here and to welcome those who choose to be from here. Over the next 43 days I’m excited to talk to more of you about how we can make this important city, better, safer, cleaner and with your support, work in Montpelier to bring more opportunity for all of us. Thanks - Joe
