At approximately 1352 hours on Tuesday 05/26 HPFD was dispatched to the 7000 block of West Bucking Horse Road for a reported active bee attack. The driver of a tractor struck the hive and his co-worker who was on foot became the target of the attack. HPFD requested mutual aid from the SRFD who responded with the PPE to handle this situation. After deploying a hose line to repel the attacking bees they rescued the now unresponsive male to a waiting ambulance. All this while being attacked by the bees themselves. The patient was transported to a nearby LZ and transferred to a Lifenet helicopter for transport to the hospital. Special thanks to the SRFD crews for their heroic service.

At approximately 0015 hours this morning HPFD along with units from SRFD and AMR responded to the intersection of Helmet Peak Road and Mission Road for a motor vehicle accident. On arrival with PCSD on scene found a vehicle approximately 300 feet off the roadway into the desert. Two occupants in the vehicle were assisted out one female patient was transported for evaluation.
