The Alderton Building We are proud to welcome Perceptions Saginaw Valley as our newest occupant at The Alderton. Perceptio The G.A.

Alderton Wholesale Grocery Company was growing rapidly near the turn of the century and needed room to expand. They purchased the vacant property just north of their existing building. Construction on the three-story brick and limestone building started in 1902 and was completed in 1904. Alderton Wholesale Grocery occupied the building until 1945. Its last industrial use was by the Trippensee Plan

etarium Company who occupied the building until the late 1990s. The building is now owned by Bill Giorgis and Russ Inman.

The building’s eyes are open again!! 😀

As the windows are being restored the boards are being removed. The boarding of all the windows was due to an abundance of caution due to an arsonist on the loose a couple years back and in response to an incredible invasion of killer pigeons!! 😉

As the cleaning and repairs unfold this fine building will begin to shine again!
