New CASA volunteers were sworn in today — and more kids now have someone in their corner.

5 new CASAs were sworn in for Bay County by Judge Miner, then sworn in for Saginaw County by Judge Meter.

Each of these volunteers just took on one of the most meaningful roles a person can hold: standing up for a child who needs an advocate. Because of them, more kids in our community will have a consistent, caring adult walking alongside them through the court process.

Join CAN Council at NEW COVENANT CHRISTIAN CENTER starting September 10th and continuing every Thursday through October 1st, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Open to all parents and caregivers, this series explores the HOPE Framework — Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences — and its four building blocks for helping kids feel safe, supported, and set up to thrive.

Each session sends you home with something to support your family: a self-care kit, laundry kit, screen-free activity book, conversation cards, or a kitchen kit.
