The YES role plays a crucial part in caring for the youth living on our campus. This position assists our Cottage Parents in the home with the day-to-day care of the youth, while being a reliable role model in our core pillar areas of Work, Study, Play and Pray.

💚 Mentorship can have a lasting impact on a child’s life.

At Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, positive role models help young people build confidence, develop trust, and discover their potential. Whether it’s a Deputy volunteering at camp, a cottage parent offering guidance, or a staff member encouraging a child through challenges, those relationships matter.

As National Make a Difference to Children Month comes to a close, we celebrate the mentors who help children feel supported, encouraged, and never alone.

Mr. Kellenberger served as a Donor Relations Officer for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. He was passionate about making a difference both in the field of marine conservation and in the lives of Florida’s youth.

His donor relations efforts made a huge impact on the Youth Ranch Safety Harbor campus, especially with the recent remodel of our original cottage.
