Just after midnight on May 23, the Safety Harbor Public Works team sprang into action after a major water main break caused low water pressure across parts of the city. Crews worked through the night and weekend to locate the break on Bow Lane, repair the damaged pipe, restore service, and complete site cleanup efforts.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Utility, Streets, and Stormwater crews, water service was safely restored and testing confirmed the water met all potable water standards before lifting the boil water notices.

Thank you to our Public Works team for their rapid response, teamwork, and commitment to keeping our community safe.
