Last evening a bit after 8 pm we were alerted of a barn fire. Members were just leaving the station after Wednesday evening drill. We responded with 11 members. Upon arrival crew found an approx 40x150 equipment shed fully involved. Chief 2 established command and requested 3rd alarm for tankers. Upon arrival West Mead #2 Volunteer Fire Department members established a wonderful dump system for tankers and awesome manpower from all. Thanks just isn't enough for all the great mutual aid we received last night! Much appreciated!!

Heck of a first day of school storm!! Couldn't help but notice there is still some confusion about tornado watches and warnings. Please also keep in mind, that when a tornado warning is issued, it does not necessarily mean that a tornado has touched down. Above all else, be cautious and alert to quickly changing weather conditions.
