Last night went off without a hitch. Crews will be out the remaining 2 nights with the same traffic flow to help everyone have a safe rodeo experience.

****ATTENTION RODEO FANS****

The attached picture is the traffic flow that will be set up for exiting the rodeo.

HWY 82 Eastbound Thru Traffic will be moved over into the inside lane, Providing a protected right turn from the rodeo grounds on Nolan Rd Eastbound on Hwy 82.

The Crossover at Nolan/Riley Rd will be closed to all traffic. The Crossover at Rodgers Rd and HWY 82 will be closed also.

When leaving the rodeo grounds and needing to go Westbound on HWY 82 you will have to exit FM 901 and turn around under the bridge to head back west.

This may provide some inconvenience, but since this traffic pattern was implemented a few years ago there have been ZERO accidents involving rodeo traffic.

We want to thank Whitesboro Fire Department and Southmayd Fire Department for helping us pull this off every year.

Our goal is to always provide the safest experience possible.

Crews are working a major vehicle collision at FM 901 and Hwy 82. 901 is currently shut down. Please seek an alternate route.

**Update**
All units are clear from the scene and the roadway is back open.

The briskets have been on the smoker since 3am.
Everything will be ready at 5PM RAIN OR SHINE!!!!
Raffle tickets are still available also.
We can't wait to see everyone this evening!

***STRUCTURE FIRE*** at 9:26 BGVFD was dispatched to a garage fire. On arrival crews found a three car garage with an interior fire. Units from BG, Barry and Emhouse worked to extinguish the fire and limit damage to the structure. No one was injured in the incident and all units are now back at the station. BGVFD is staffed by Volunteers and funded by donation.

Members will be st Dennards in Whitesboro today from 10 to 2 selling raffle tickets. We will also have our new brush truck on display.
