Yesterday, the ACWA State Relations Team had the opportunity to learn about the impacts of proactive forest management and the aftereffects of wildfires on water supply, water quality and water agency operations. Thanks to ACWA member agencies El Dorado Irrigation District, Georgetown Divide Public Utility District and El Dorado County Water Agency for the great tour! As well as Sierra Pacific Industries, El Dorado Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation Districts, and the U.S. Forest Service for being part of it.

California’s water community is coming together to rethink how water data is reported, shared and used.

Join ACWA, California Water Efficiency Partnership, California Data Collaborative and the California Water Data Consortium on Sept. 3 for a LIVE webinar - “From Burden to Breakthrough: Launching California’s Water Data Reporting Initiative.”

The webinar will introduce the Initiative to Streamline Water Data Reporting in California and explore a vision for reducing redundant reporting, connecting existing efforts and creating a coordinated data framework to support better water management decisions.
