🔭 FREE ASTRONOMY DAY TRIPS FOR YOUTH! 🚀

We’re excited to share this amazing opportunity from our partner United Latinos!

Juntos Afuera- Viaje a Las Estrellas offers a series of FREE astronomy day trips for children ages 8–14 who are interested in learning about space and the stars.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants will have the opportunity to:
🔭 Learn about observatories and how they support space exploration
🪐 View stars, planets, and other celestial objects up close
🚀 Visit observatories and planetariums across Northern California

📅 2026 Dates & Locations:

📍 Thursday, September 17 — Community Observatory, Placerville
📍 Saturday, October 3 — Lick Observatory at Mount Hamilton
📍 Saturday, October 17 — MOSAC Museum & Planetarium, Sacramento

Nos da mucho gusto compartir esta increíble oportunidad de nuestros socios United Latinos.

Juntos Afuera - Viaje a Las Estrellas ofrece una serie de viajes gratuitos de un día para niños y niñas de 8 a 14 años interesados en aprender sobre el espacio, las estrellas y la astronomía.

Todos los niños deben estar acompañados por un padre, madre o tutor.

Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de:
🔭 Aprender sobre los observatorios y cómo apoyan la exploración espacial
🪐 Observar de cerca estrellas, planetas y otros objetos celestes
🚀 Visitar observatorios y planetarios en diferentes lugares del norte de California
