California is one step closer to a new tool for financing the infrastructure our communities depend on.

SB 769, the Golden State Infrastructure Fund, authored by Senator Anna Caballero and sponsored by California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, has passed the Legislature and is now before Gov. Gavin Newsom for consideration.

The legislation would expand financing options for critical projects across California, from roads and bridges to water and energy systems, while supporting jobs and long-term economic growth.

A major milestone for legislation designed to help California build a stronger, more resilient future.
