FemDems had a great time last night at our yearly Membership Drive in collaboration with our CYD North State Region partners!!

We really enjoyed seeing so many new and familiar faces, connecting with members of our community, and highlighting the amazing work of our membership!

Thank you to everyone who joined the FemDems and Latinx Young Dems joint membership meeting last night!! ☺️

We had the opportunity to discuss what the intersection of art, culture and Politics looks like and put it into action. We all painted pictures and messages that represent our own resistance as activist!

We also had the opportunity to watch the congressional district 7 candidate debate. We’re so proud of our endorsed candidate, Mai Vang for Congress 👏🏽

Lastly, dont forget to purchase your tickets for the Latinx Young Dems, Sac County 10 year anniversary fundraiser and join us for our CYD North State Region mixer next week! 🥳

FemDems is hosting our next Political Affairs Committee meeting! Come by and learn more about our endorsement process, hear from some candidates seeking our endorsement, and ask them questions!

Everyone is welcome to join but in order to discuss the candidates but you must be a member in good standing in order to vote! Feel free to DM us if you would like to check your membership status!

Join Fem Dems and the Latinx Young Dems, Sac County for a joint general membership meeting!

We will have a local artist join us to talk about the intersection of art and politics and how art is used as a tool for political resistance. 🖼️ ✊🏽⚖️

This will be followed by a paint and sip activity! 🎨🖌️
*Painting materials will be provided on a first come first serve basis but members are welcomed to bring their own supplies.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided!🥤

Fem Dems had an amazing time at this years California Young Democrats state leadership committee!

Thank you to the San Diego County Young Dems for welcoming us all to the beautiful San Diego region!

We had the opportunity to meet with young dems from across California, discuss our priorities, and plan for the November election. We also voted to charter in new chapters and caucuses. We officially have over 102 chapters 🥳🥳

This PRIDE, we want to recognize these AMAZING organizations & businesses who work so hard to ensure the LGBTQ+ community is protected, represented, and celebrated! Each one highlighted here is unique - from advocacy and health to nightlife and entertainment!

FemDems makes a conscious effort to support our local LGBTQ+ businesses in our contributions, event venues, and partnerships - you can do that too on an individual level! The next time you need a coffee, want to grab a drink, or even rent a library book, visit one of these places!

Thank you to everyone who joined our Pop Culture Trivia Night/ E-Board Meet & Greet tonight!!

This was such a great way to relax, recharge, & be in great company with friends, especially after a long primaries season! We hope everyone enjoyed the snacks, ice cream, and (for the trivia winners) a temple gift card!
