The Northern California African American Young Male Conference (AAYMC) is hosted by a coalition of non-profit organizations and supported by sponsors for the benefit of youth in the Sacramento, California area. This event consists of workshops and seminars for young men and covers topics such as African American history, interview skills, financial literacy (kids and parents), college prep, and mo
re. At the 2013 conferences, over four hundred young men, parents, and guardians attended the conference that amazingly is provided at no cost to the kids or parents. Warren, is supported by corporate sponsor African American Expressions, and is co-hosted by community groups that include: 100 Black Men of Sacramento, Kappa Alpha Psi-Sacramento Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Target Excellence, Roberts Family Development Center, Union Bank, U-CAN Go-to-Colege and Sacramento City Unified School District.
