ATTENTION LOS RIOS: YDSA is recruiting new members at Los Rios Community Colleges!

YDSA is organizing new chapters at American River College (ARC), Sacramento City College (SCC), and Cosumnes River College (CRC). While we don’t have an active chapter at Folsom Lake College (FLC), Sac DSA can fully support any students who want to start a chapter there. So FLC students, don’t hesitate to join us.

WHAT IS DSA? Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) believes society should meet the needs of all, not just a privileged few.

WHAT IS YDSA? Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) is the youth and student section of DSA, with campus chapters and youth activists nationwide.

Sacramento DSA invites you to attend our Worker Organizer Job Fair on Saturday, October 10th from 1-3pm.

This isn’t your standard job fair. When billionaires are openly taking control of our government, rolling back workers’ rights and civil liberties, and gutting public services, our only answer is to organize and fight back. This event is designed to help counter the authoritarian onslaught by growing the labor movement.

Attendees will learn about the pipeline into active workplace organizing campaigns!

This multigenerational drama traces the story of the Palestinian struggle through the lens of a family’s experiences from the Nakba in 1948 to the ongoing occupation in the 2020’s. It is the story of a family’s heartaches and hopes for liberation.
