Join Artist Ambassador Shonna McDaniels for a fun, hands-on workshop celebrating the beautiful birds and native plants of the Natomas basin through fiber craft. Shonna will guide you through the process.

The Ohio Star quilt block is one of the most popular and frequently used blocks in quilting. It was a popular block amongst pioneer quilters because it was an introduction to QST's (quarter square triangles) and it allowed the quilter to use lots of scraps and create a stunning and unique block.

The Ohio Star block is rich in history and has been around since the early 1800's. Like a lot of blocks, it's known by a few other names - Variable Star, Eastern Star and Western Star, depending on it's geographical location or time period.

Located at One Natomas Farmers Market, July 25th from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM with Shonna Mcdaniels, 2501 New Market Dr, Sacramento, CA 95835
