During Government Finance Professionals Week in March, California local governments recognize the finance professionals whose work is essential to fiscal stability, transparency, and public trust. At SHRA, we celebrate and offer thanks and gratitude to our Finance Department professionals, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, grants, and financial systems who collectively ensure the fiscal health and sustainability of our organization. These valuable employees exercise critical roles that matter to our organization, demonstrating highly recognized responsible stewardship of public funds, transparency and public trust, regulatory compliance, reliable community services, and meeting state requirements.
