As one of APAPA’s founding members, Dr. Fong has played an important role in our organization’s history while building an extraordinary career spanning more than four decades in the biotechnology industry and biomedical research.

education, and community service embodies APAPA’s mission to inspire, engage, and empower Asian and Pacific Islander Americans through civic and public affairs.

July was a month of leadership, partnership, and community in action.

Across the country, APAPA chapters, volunteers, interns, partners, and supporters came together to create opportunities that strengthen our communities and empower the next generation.

This month, we:
✨ Launched Tri-Valley's inaugural Summer Bridge Program
🏛️ Expanded pathways to public service through the Government Appointments Committee
🤝 Celebrated organizations making a difference in our communities
🌿 Hosted community wellness and reflection workshops through Arts in California Parks
🇺🇸 Celebrated Independence Day alongside our chapters and volunteers
🎥 Began preserving APAPA's 25-year legacy through our anniversary film

Every event, partnership, and conversation reflects the mission that has guided APAPA for the past 25 years: developing leaders, strengthening communities, and advancing civic engagement.
