Meet Rachel, the Sales and Catering Manager aboard the Delta King ⚓

Seven years aboard this historic riverboat have put Rachel at the center of the moments that make the Delta King so special.

☀️A summer lunch on the river can turn into an afternoon exploring its history, while a night out might lead to a murder mystery dinner with friends.

History, hospitality, and community all come together aboard the Delta King. That’s what keeps Rachel passionate about her work and keeps guests coming back to this Old Sacramento Waterfront favorite.

Meet Max and Karen, the artists behind Ink and Image 🖋️

What started as a small business venture in Max’s apartment quickly grew into a traveling journey, going from trade show to trade show, before eventually finding a home in Old Sacramento.

Today, their work reflects a shared commitment to craft, detail, and intention. Each piece is thoughtfully made, balancing creativity with the needs of the people they design for.

Meet Marleen, one of the creative forces behind Artists’ Collaborative Gallery 🎨

At 85 years young, Marleen has spent much of her life traveling and sharing her art around the world. A lifelong Sacramentan, she’s helped shape a gallery that’s more than just a place to display art, it’s a space rooted in collaboration.

Inside, different styles, mediums, and perspectives overlap, creating something that’s always evolving. Marleen isn’t just creating her own work, she’s helped build an environment where other artists can grow and create alongside her.

Meet Stephen, one of the founders behind Hello Sunshine Sac Collective ☀️

Inspired by the community he found while vending at local markets, along with the memory of a dear friend, Stephen created a space meant for anyone and everyone.

That energy shows up in every corner. The color, the humor, and the easygoing feel all make it a place you want to stay a little longer. Alongside his creative partner Amy, Stephen has built something that feels joyful, approachable, and entirely its own.

It’s a space rooted in connection, where creating and shopping feel fun again.
