It’s Election Day, California! Vote today by dropping off your ballot at an official ballot drop-box or voting in-person at a vote center or polling place near you before polls close at 8 pm. If you must mail your ballot, ask the post office to postmark your ballot return envelope by hand. 🗳️

Tomorrow is Election Day for the 2026 Primary Election! Polls open at 7 a.m. across California and will be open until 8 p.m. Remember you have rights as a voter, including casting your ballot and to vote if you’re in line by 8 p.m.

Attention Californians: If you haven't submitted your ballot yet for the June 2nd primary election, please try to submit it (ASAP!) via drop-box or in-person. If you must mail it through the US Postal Service, walk it in to the post office and request a postmark on the spot.

State officials are warning that some ballots mailed too close to Election Day might not be counted. Here are other recommended ways to submit your ballot instead.

A federal court blocked Alabama's racial gerrymander from 2026 elections, ruling that intentional racial discrimination is still unconstitutional (even after SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act). We'll take the win! But an appeal is almost certain, so keep watching this space...

The ruling will almost certainly be appealed directly to the U.S. Supreme Court.
