🌟 Ribbon Cutting Today in Turlock🌟
DHCS is celebrating another milestone in California’s historic investment in behavioral health infrastructure through the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP). The Central Valley TAY Independence Program, led by Aspiranet, received $8.7 million in BHCIP funding to expand vital behavioral health services for transition age youth (TAY) in Stanislaus County. This project supports statewide efforts to build and strengthen facilities that provide mental health and substance use disorder treatment — a key component of California’s broader strategy to expand care access and modernize the behavioral health system.
With this investment, the project will offer:
• A Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program with 6 beds.
• Outpatient substance use disorder treatment capacity (12 slots) projecting service to nearly 3,000 individuals annually
This work aligns with BHCIP’s mission to grow community based treatment options, increase service capacity, and ensure Californians can access the right level of care where they live. Thank you to Aspiranet and all partners working to expand compassionate, high-quality services for youth in the Central Valley. https://infrastructure.buildingcalhhs.com
