🔥 Important Update: Seasonal fire restrictions are now in effect for BLM-managed public lands in the Ukiah Field Office, covering Colusa, Glen, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties. These restrictions are in place due to dry conditions and high wildland fire danger.
Restrictions include no campfires or open flames of any kind, no smoking except in enclosed vehicles or buildings, and no motorized vehicles off designated roads or trails. As always, fireworks are prohibited on all BLM lands.
Help us prevent human-caused wildfires — 95% of California wildfires are caused by people. Please plan ahead, use caution, and recreate responsibly.

🔥 Prescribed Fire Planned in ‘Inimim Forest – Nevada County

Starting March 16, U.S. Wildland Firefighters will conduct prescribed fire operations in the ‘Inimim Forest, east of North Columbia. This project aims to improve forest health and reduce wildfire risks across 250 acres.

🚨 Smoke may be visible in Nevada City, Camptonville, and surrounding areas. Please drive cautiously and be prepared for firefighters and emergency vehicles on the roads.
