🩺 Your CAHP benefits are built differently.

Created by CHP officers for CAHP members, the CAHP Health, Dental, and Long Term Disability Trusts are among the very few self-funded benefit plans, helping ensure savings are reinvested back into the plans to strengthen benefits and keep costs competitive.

From healthcare and dental coverage to long term disability resources, these benefits are designed to support CAHP members and their families both on and off duty.

🚔 Behind every safe roadway is someone making sacrifices to protect it.

June is National Safety Month, a reminder that for CAHP members, safety is not just part of the job, it is part of everyday life both on and off duty. From protecting California’s roadways to supporting one another through the challenges that come with the profession, safety remains at the core of the CHP community.

This month serves as a reminder to prioritize officer wellness, look out for one another, and continue the commitment to keeping California’s communities safe.

CAHP is proud to stand behind the men and women who serve our state every day.

Memorial Day is a time to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reflects a commitment to something greater than oneself and a legacy that continues to shape the freedoms we live with today.

We honor the fallen and stand in remembrance.

Below 100. ⬇️

It may sound like just a number, but in law enforcement it represents something much bigger: the goal of keeping annual line-of-duty deaths below 100.

In 2025, 111 officers across the United States lost their lives in the line of duty. While that number is lower than the 148 reported in 2024, it is still far too high.

The Below 100 initiative focuses on simple actions that can help save lives:

• Wear your seat belt
• Wear your vest
• Watch your speed
• WIN: What Is Important Now?
• Complacency kills

These reminders may be simple, but they matter. Every one of them is a commitment to protecting those who serve and honoring the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. 💙

Honoring the Past. Preserving the Legacy. 💙

On International Museum Day, we recognize the California Highway Patrol Museum and its role in preserving the history and legacy of the California Highway Patrol.

Located at the CHP Academy, the museum houses a constantly evolving collection of memorabilia and artifacts donated by officers, their families, and the community, bringing CHP history to life through the people who lived it.

Supported by the CAHP and the broader CHP community, the museum stands as a lasting tribute to the service, sacrifice, and commitment of CHP officers across generations.

As a nonprofit organization, the museum relies on the support of the public and its partners to continue its mission. For more information on how to support the CHP Museum, visit thecahp.org.

On Peace Officers’ Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

We remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize the lasting impact of that loss across the law enforcement community. Their courage and commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.

This day is a reminder of the risks carried by those who serve and the strength of the families and colleagues who stand beside them.

We stand in solidarity with their families, their fellow officers, and all who continue to carry their legacy forward. 🕊️
