A day we will never forget. ❤️
For over three years, Tina has been without a place to call home. She has faced uncertainty, instability, and moments where the future felt overwhelming. But this week, that chapter has officially closed. Tina has moved into her very own apartment.
When she received her keys, she broke down in tears, not from sadness, but from overwhelming gratitude. After everything she has endured, this moment meant more than words can fully capture. As she stood in her Housing Specialist's office, she said, “I haven't had anywhere to call my own in 3 years, and now, I have keys to my own apartment. I never thought that was gonna happen for me!”
This is what perseverance looks like. This is what hope looks like. This is what happens when someone refuses to give up, and when a team surrounds them with consistent support and belief.
Pictured is her Housing Specialist, Melissa, who has walked alongside Tina through this journey. Not pictured, but equally instrumental, are her Case Manager, Gustavo, and her Community Worker, Freedom, who have remained by her side every step of the way.
Today, Tina doesn’t just have an apartment. She has stability. She has safety. She has a fresh start.
And most importantly, she has a place to finally call her own. 🏡✨
