7:00 p.m. Update: The Temporary Evacuation Point has closed. Thank you to the heroic efforts of firefighters for keeping our community safe.

The Red Cross and our partners have opened a Temporary Evacuation Point for residents displaced by the Colorado Fire.
Temporary Evacuation Point Location: New Life Calvary Chapel Mariposa, 5089 Cole Road, Mariposa, CA 95338.
Alongside Mariposa County Health & Human Services, Red Cross volunteers will help provide safe shelter, water, snacks, emotional support and additional resources to evacuees impacted by the wildfire.
If they have time, evacuating residents are encouraged to bring the following for each member of their family & small pets:
• Prescription & other emergency medication
• Extra clothing
• Pillows & blankets
• Hygiene supplies
• Important documents
• Other comfort items for children & pets
Stay safe with these tips:
• Be ready to evacuate.
• Keep your emergency kit nearby.
• Follow local authorities for evacuation updates Mariposa County Sheriff's Office

Mariposa County Health & Human Services Agency in coordination with The American Red Cross Shelter will open a Temporary Evacuation Point at 3:00 PM and will be located at the New Life Christian Fellowship, 5089 Cole Rd in Bootjack. Please do not wait to evacuate.
