Bring the whole family for a day of free food, music, community resources, and activities for children. We'll also be giving away 750 backpacks while supplies last to help students get ready for the new school year.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom in this country has always been delayed, negotiated, and fought for. I support ACR 214 because acknowledging history is not symbolic work, it is necessary work. We cannot tell the truth about emancipation without also telling the truth about what still remains unfinished.

That is why I authored AB 1578, because protecting our communities means addressing bias, discrimination, and division before they cause harm. Democracy is strongest when people understand the power they have!

Proud to host the inaugural Democracy Bootcamp in the 60th Assembly District.

Participants gathered for a day of civic education, learning how our Constitution provides the foundation for how our democracy works and how we engage in it.

Grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this inaugural event a success. An informed community is a stronger community.
