🎉Congratulations to Sarah Metcalf for being the Cox PTA Volunteer of the Year! A few words from her nomination entries…
“Sarah has been President of the Cox PTA for two years. That position can be such a thankless one but it requires the most of any board position. Her board has reached Platinum Voice for Every Child twice in a row, which is a major accomplishment! As president, she is present at al events, runs board meetings, meets with admin, and there is so much work done behind the scene that no one else sees but her family. Her heart is amazing and she is always going above and beyond to do what is best for the school, students, and staff. She definitely deserves this recognition.”
“Throughout the year Sarah has consistently gone above and beyond in service to our school and other PTA members. As president for the past 2 years, she has helped to build a more engaged school community. She has been a constant and reliable presence on our campus and is always willing to step in wherever needed.”
“Sarah was the main reason that the Cox Elementary PTA had a successful 25-26 school year. She remained passionate about making sure board positions were filled and provided excellent support throughout the year. She devoted a lot of time, energy and money to keep our PTA and its programs/events running smoothly.”
“She has gone above and beyond as pta president! She has helped in many more capacities than just president and was instrumental in the success of many events. She is leaving the PTA in great position for next board. Spend many personal hours cleaning the PTA closet.”
“Sarah has been the backbone of our PTA the past two years. She is always at events and making sure all the things get done. She gives reminders and is helpful and will do whatever is needed to make Cox the best!”
“Sarah was an excellent leader for our PTA throughout the 25-26 school year. She volunteered to help (physically or as a thought partner) at all PTA events. She provided guidance and direction to all the PTA chairs, always had the answer or was willing to hunt it down, and played a huge part in the overall PTA board morale. Her leadership was greatly appreciated and her dedication to the school was unmatched!”
