historic environment. People will want to do business in Sac City. The strong community leadership and partnerships among retailers, government, professional services, education, large and small employers, and other com

munity groups will be evident as residents work toward common goals. Today’s assets: a core of essential businesses, strong professional services, locally-owned establishments and knowledgeable employees, provide the foundation for building Sac City’s future. Because local residents take pride in the past, significant historical buildings will be preserved and will play an active role in accommodating new businesses and second story residences. With a strong emphasis on revitalization, the downtown Main Street area will remain the focal point of the community and a destination for local and area consumers. Employees of other businesses and industries in Sac City will be able to obtain necessary goods and services conveniently, which will help to create jobs in the community. The youth of the future will remember the community because it felt like home: clean, attractive, safe, caring friendly, and fun. It’s a place that will makes them proud to call Sac City home.

The Board of Directors of the Sac City Chamber of Commerce would like to publicly express our support for Crystal and her willingness to serve our community by running for the office of Sac County Recorder.

While many in the community have expressed concern about the possibility of losing Crystal as Chamber Director, we believe it is important to recognize and support individuals who are willing to step forward and serve Sac County in new and meaningful ways. Crystal has been an incredible asset to our community through her leadership, organization, and dedication to building stronger partnerships throughout Sac County. We believe that encouraging growth and public service is far more important than holding someone back simply because they are valuable in their current role.

Under Crystal’s leadership, the Chamber has developed a strong and stable foundation. Through increased organization, cooperation, and the belief that we are “Stronger Together,” the Chamber is in an excellent position for continued success moving forward. We are confident that, should Crystal be elected, the next Chamber Director would be well-positioned to continue building on the strong framework she has established. We also know Crystal will always remain a supporter and advocate for the Chamber and our communities.

This statement should not be viewed as a political endorsement by the Chamber of Commerce. Rather, it is an expression of appreciation and support for Crystal’s willingness to serve Sac County through public office.

The Chamber Board would also like to extend our best wishes to all candidates in the upcoming election and thank them for their commitment to serving the residents of Sac County.

We wish Crystal the very best in her campaign and believe she would serve the citizens of Sac County with professionalism, integrity, and dedication as Sac County Recorder.
