The Sac Aquatic Center is in desperate need of lifeguards.

The Sac Aquatic Center is accepting applications for 2026 summer lifeguards. Starting salary for lifeguards is $13.50 per hour. We would enjoy having you a member of our 2026 LIFEGUARD TEAM!

The 2025 pool season was another safe and successful season filled with many events. Our final day once again gave everyone attending a foamy environment with the Foam Daddy, Thanks Crystal and Jason.
This year the Sac Aquatic Center had an extremely small but dedicated staff. Our staff included one first year guard and seven experienced lifeguards. Having such a small group of lifeguards created many challenges. Staff flexibility was a key in keeping the facility operating normally. The number of lifeguards this season was at a critical point and we will need additional staff in the future to operate normally.
I would like to thank everyone who supported us by attending the Sac Aquatic Center during this season. I saw many new faces this season and hope you plan to return next season. We really appreciate all of our local resident patrons and the many others from outside our local area for making the trip to our facility. We hope your experience will bring you back to the Sac Aquatic Center during the 2026 season. We appreciate Kids World and Bentsen Day Care for their continued support by bringing children to the Aquatic Center, Loring Hospital for including our facility in your employee appreciation event, Farm Bureau and 4H, for including us for their group events, and the many birthday parties.
I was very appreciative to our Sac County EMS and Communication Center for participating in our Emergency Drill. The information shared during and after the drill was very informative.
Thank you to Sac City Unity Point and Loring Hospital staff for coming out for their annual trivia day to ask questions and hand out prizes. Thanks to everyone who put in all the work to make our pool season and events possible.

The Sac Aquatic Center will be having a night swim on Friday, July 4 after the fireworks, weather permitting. Opening will be 10:30 and closing will be 11:30. The cost will be $9.00 for everyone entering, including those with season passes.

2025 Lifeguard Staff
This year the Sac Aquatic Center has an extremely small but dedicated lifeguard staff. Our 2025 lifeguard family includes only one first year lifeguard and seven experienced lifeguards. Having a small lifeguard staff has its challenges and requires a flexible group to keep the facility open as normal. The number of lifeguards this season is nearing a critical point and it is our hope that we will have additional lifeguard staff in the future.

The 2025 pool season will begin soon. Sac Aquatic Center staff is hoping to see everyone who has attended in the past and excited to meet and assist those who will be attending for the first time. The Sac Aquatic Center has a lot to offer at a reasonable price. We will be opening Memorial weekend, weather permitting. We will be closed Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 30 and re-open for the season on Saturday, May 31.

Daily Admission Prices
Children (2 & under) Free
Single Daily Admission $9.00
Special Events (Night Swim) $9.00

Season Pass Prices
Single $120.00
Family (4 members of the same family) $215.00
Additional (member of the same family) $30.00
A single (1) caregiver may be added on a family $30.00
pass but must always accompany children when
using pass and must be at least 14 years old.

We accept cash or check.

Pool Hours 1:00 – 7:00* Monday – Sunday

Projected Opening Date: Memorial weekend / reopen for season May 30
Projected Closing Date: August 17, 2024

- The Sac Aquatic Center will close to the public for Swim Meets.
- The Sac Aquatic Center will close to the public in the event of inclement weather.
- The Sac Aquatic Center may close slides and possibly the pool due to a lack of Lifeguard staff.
- The Sac Aquatic Center may close anytime after 6:00p.m. if less than 10 customers are present.
The Sac Aquatic Center may close if the outdoor temperature is below 70 degrees.

Another pool season has come to end at the Sac Aquatic Center. Unfortunately, some warm days came after our season had come to an end but that does happen at times. Our final day had a new experience for everyone attending with the Foam Daddy creating a foamy environment.
I was very blessed to work with 16 fantastic lifeguards this season. Thanks so much to all of you for making sure everyone had a fun and safe season. All of you upheld my motto since I began managing, “everyone that walks in walks out”.It was also an honor to work with so many special individuals who work behind the scenes that make a successful season possible. Thanks so much for all of you. I would like to thank everyone who supported us by attending the Sac Aquatic Center during this season. I saw many new faces this season and hope you plan to return next season. Lifeguard Staff 2024

This year the Sac Aquatic Center is extremely fortunate to have the largest group of lifeguards ever. Our lifeguard team includes nine first year guards working along side seven veteran guards. This combination of lifeguarding experience has created a strong balanced team. Rest assured all staff will be working diligently to make sure everyone has an enjoyable and safe experience at the Sac Aquatic Center.
