Please consider supporting the Sabina Historical Society with a membership. Only $10 per year for a single person or family. Senior Lifetime Memberships are available for those 65+ yrs. old at a rate of $100 (pay one time and never pay again).

Newsletters were mailed out for the 2026 winter quarter. If you didn't receive one, it may be because your membership has expired.

Checks should be made payable to "Clinton County Foundation" and mailed to The Sabina Historical Society, PO Box 271, Sabina OH 45169 or dropped off to SHS Treasurer Peggy Dunn at the Sabina Library during regular business hours. Please include your mailing address and phone number with your membership payment.

Trustee Peggy Dunn is seeking any information you might have about these three parade photos found in some personal family photo boxes. Two of the parade floats show flags marked “Sabina”, perhaps with a Boy Scout snd Girl Scout troop number. Only one of the three photos have identifying names marked on the back (Esther Yarger and D. Arehart) which might help with a date.

We would like to thank Jana Mayer and her Harvest House Catering crew for a lovely Christmas meal. Scrumptious mini-cheesecakes were provided by Melanie Seaman for dessert. Thank you to all for your continued support of the Sabina Historical Society this year.

Tables were decorated with holiday striped tablecloths and festive Christmas tree chocolates. Centerpieces included various items from early Sabina businesses.

Only a few days left to turn in your dinner reservation.

Our annual meeting, program and Christmas dinner will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the COVE in Sabina. A program on the founding of Sabina is being planned, preceded by a catered meal. Doors will open at 6:00 PM with our meal starting at 6:30 PM.

Dinner reservations are due by November 21st so that a final count can be given to our caterer. Cost for a meal is $25 per person. Checks should be made payable to the "Clinton County Foundation". To register contact Peggy Dunn at the Sabina Public Library (937-584-2319). You can also mail your registration check to Sabina Historical Society, PO Box 271, Sabina OH 45169 if sent early. You can pay at the door that night as long as you pre-register with Peggy. Please note that if you pre-register you are responsible for payment even if you are unable to attend the event since we must turn in a count to our caterer in advance.

Wow! We are amazed by all the support we were given at our Christmas Around Sabina Town event this year. During this annual fundraiser for the Sabina Historical Society, we raised $1,138.65 after event expenses were taken out.

Thank you so much for your donations of baked goods and for all of those who volunteered time to work at our table or help us with preparations. Your support is what keeps our little group operating

Today (Saturday, Nov. 8th) is the final day for Christmas Around Sabina Town. Help us clear our table this morning when we open at 9:00 AM at the COVE. We will only be open today until the homemade goodies are gone. Your donations help support the Sabina Historical Society.

Membership applications are available at the table. You can also renew your membership for $10.

Dinner reservations for our annual meeting and Christmas Dinner are also being accepted at our table. Cost of the meal will be $25 per person this year.

Reservations for our upcoming annual meeting and Christmas dinner are due by Friday, November 21st so a final count can be given to our caterer. Meal price has increased to $25 per person.

Cash reservations can be made during the Christmas Around Sabina Town event. Our table is at the COVE this year. We will reopen tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 8) morning at 9:00 AM and stay until cookies are gone.

If you aren't able to catch us tomorrow at the COVE, you will need to give your reservation to trustee Peggy Dunn by either dropping it off during business hours at the Sabina Public Library or mailing to PO Box 271, Sabina OH 45169. Checks should be made payable to the "Clinton County Foundation".
