Explore and Craft on Thursday was all about volcanoes. Ms. Sheri demonstrated a few ways to make volcanoes - using baking soda and vinegar and then using hydrogen peroxide and yeast.

Participants made their own volcanoes using paint and plastic bags.

Explore and Craft is held on Thursdays in June at 1:30 pm. Next week, we'll be painting pet rocks!

A big thank you to Greg Strahm and Livie Strahm of Grimm's Gardens for sharing their gardening knowledge at today's Picnic in the Park!
After learning about flowers, soil, and planting, our young gardeners planted their own flowers by the shelter house. Each child placed their name next to their flower so they can stop by throughout the summer and watch it grow.
Be sure to check out their hard work the next time you're at the park! 🌼🌱
