Since covid has put a bit of a damper on the holidays, allow us to help make it a little better. Anyone in the Ryland Heights Fire District can let us know, stop off a gift, and we will have Santa deliver it to your front porch for the kids. Santa will be riding in a firetruck and we will follow guidelines with masks. We only ask that you help us follow social distancing guidelines and keep the kiddos safely inside!!!!

All week (and weekend) at Cherokee Shopping Plaza from 11a-2p and 4p-7p the California Tri-Tip Steak truck will be up and running! Come and get a Steak Sandwich, Pulled Tri-Tip BBQ Sandwich, Tri-Tip Chili Dogs, or Tri-Tip Chili Nachos!

Ryland Heights Fire and EMS has been graciously awarded a Stryker Power Pro cot, and Performance load system

What that means: The power cot will allow for our EMS personnel to safely lift and move any patient up to 700lbs, without high risk of injury to personnel and lost time from injuries to backs or muscle. The performance load also is a modern safety mechanism that will secure the cot firmly in the rare cases of accident, preventing the patient from being hurt additionally if an accident occurs. Big thank you has to go out to City of Ryland Heights, Andrea Quigley(Stryker rep) and Inst-a-Tech for the mounting of the performance load.

Had a great time at the Ryland Heights Member kids Christmas Party. Santa arrived on a fire truck and brought a toys for all in attendance. Thanks to all who helped!

The Ryland Heights Raffle ended today at 2pm and the follow names were drawn:

2nd-Gregg Fender

3rd-Trevor Canter

Each person has been notifed and we are working the details to get each person their prize. A special thanks to all of those who helped and supported the raffle as the department was able to raise the money needed for our additional gear.

Had a great time at our annual FD Christmas celebration. Thanks to Taylor Mill Fire Department for covering the city and BJ's Brewhouse for a great experience. A good time was had by all.
