Professional Development
The STEM Center designs direct and online professional development for pre and

in service teachers in STEM teaching methods, classroom practices and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Specialized teacher training is available by Apple certified STEM Center staff experienced in the expert use of iPads in science instruction. STEM Programming
The STEM Center designs formal (classroom) and informal (after school) K-12 STEM curricula and programs that emphasize the Engineering Design process consistent with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Packages include instruction and project materials, classroom and electronic resources. Consulting Services
The STEM Center staff uses highly effective classroom practices and expert knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards to help school districts build STEM capacity. Consulting services include STEM integration in existing curricula as well as iPad deployment to support STEM programs. iPad Integration
The STEM Center emphasizes the integration of rich, meaningful technology in its programs. We have extensive expertise teaching with iPads. We can help to launch iPad initiatives, train staff in classroom deployment, and help to build a STEM program with a commitment to powerful classroom technology.
