"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are as bold as a lion." —Proverbs 28:1

National Police Week serves as both a tribute to the fallen heroes who gave everything in the line of duty and a recognition of the dedicated officers who continue to serve their communities with courage, integrity, and selflessness every day.

Behind every badge is a story of sacrifice, service, and family. This week, we pause to remember the officers who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty while protecting the communities they swore to serve. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

We also recognize and honor the officers who continue to answer the call each day, fully aware of the dangers they may face and the possibility that they may not return home to their loved ones. Yet they still put on the badge, stand the line, and serve with unwavering commitment.

To all law enforcement officers and their families — thank you for your sacrifice, your strength, and your service. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we stand beside you not only this week, but every day.

(Copied from Hamblen County regarding Turner) *****Media Release Update***** 3/9/26 7:05 p.m. RE: Arrest of Randall Turner The arrest of Randall Turner, earlier today in Los Angeles, CA., was the result of a collaboration between the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office, the Grainger County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force. According to Sheriff Chad Mullins, this is a prime example of what can happen when law enforcement agencies work together. “Turner was last seen in Grainger County on February 27th and in less than two weeks time, working together, we were able to track him down on the other side of the country,” Mullins said. “I want to personally thank the Grainger County Sheriff’s Office, the US Marshals Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force and my team for their efforts and the skills they used to get Turner in custody, where he belongs,” Mullins stated. Mullins further stated that it was the US Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force who made the actual arrest. Once the letter of extradition is signed, Turner will be transported back to Hamblen County by members of the HCSO.**************************⚠️ UPDATE:****************************
New information indicates that Randall Turner is wanted out of Hamblen County on s*x offense charges. Investigators now believe he may have fled the area in an attempt to avoid a court date. Since this missing person report was filed, warrants have been issued for his arrest.

Mr. Turner should be considered wanted, and the public is urged not to approach him.

If you see Randall Turner, know his whereabouts, or have any information that could assist investigators, please contact 911 to report information.
