Hey, Rutland Free Library patrons, how are you doing on your Summer Reading challenges?
Just a reminder that our first prize drawing will be on Monday, June 29th. Get your June challenge in by the end of the day on Saturday, June 27th to be entered!
Won’t make it? No worries, still turn it in and it will be entered into the pile for bonus drawings at the end of the summer.

Don’t forget that you can still sign up! We have three challenges to choose from for our pre-readers, our independently reading kids, and one for teens and adults. All challenges are meant to be scalable to the individual!

This week in Teen Programming! It's non-stop fun to really kick off our Summer.

Wednesday (6/24) from 3-5pm, Make it with Marissa! She's going to be showing teens how to use paper, glue, and other bits and bobs to customize a light switch. Registration is suggested because supplies are limited. Any extra supplies will be first-come, first-served.

Thursday (6/25) from 3-5pm we'll be making Candy Sushi; just like real sushi, except made of rice treats, gummy worms, fruit leather, and other sugary treats.

Friday (6/26) from 3:30-5:30 our wonderful fiber afficianado will be in for fiber craft help! Beginner friendly, open knit and crochet time. You can bring your own project or find one to start here.

Saturday (6/27) from 11:30-1:30 Beks is back, and this time she's painting on upcycled canvas. Teens will get to choose a fabric to incorporate into their artwork.

Also on Saturday, from 10-11:30 is our Pokemon Club! Learn to play the card game - beginner friendly, all supplies provided.
