Before it was an inn, this building was Rutherfordton's city hall and fire station.

The bay doors out front are original, the trucks pulled out right about where you'll park. The ceilings in rooms 2 and 3 are tall because they had to be; the sleeping lofts got built into that height later.
We kept what we could. It's why nothing in here quite matches, and why no two rooms are the same shape.

If you have an old photo of this building, or a story about it, we would genuinely love to see it. Comment, or send it to us.

🚧 If you see barricades and warning signs out for flooding today please pay attention.

⚠️ Even though the sky is clearing up, Broad River will continue to rise from upstream runoff. We will be monitoring our low lying levels for river flooding throughout the day.

We kicked off Fire Prevention Week in a big way this week. We've had the best time sharing with St. Francis Day School, Rutherfordton Elementary, Trinity Christian School and Norris Public Library. We look forward to the next few weeks when we will share with TLC and several scheduled station tours!

Here are a few tips: 1-charge your device using the cord it came with. 2-when charging your devices, charge them on a hard surface, never charge them under pillows or other soft objects. 3-plug your charging cord directly into a wall outlet. 4-charge large items outside.
