The Shingle Hollow Fire Department would like to say a Big Thank You to the officers and firemen of the department for completing the Fire Officers class last night. They have sacrificed coming to class two and three nights a week since July. This class not only improves skill set but it also will give us points for the next insurance rating inspection. The more points we get the lower the insurance rating we can get for the home owners in our 5 mile district. Which will lower homeowner premiums. Thank you Tony Gowen for instructing the class for us. These guys deserves a huge shout out!

Shingle Hollow VFD station 2 project in the white house community is getting close to completion. Install the bay doors, button up the electrical, REA run the power to the building, NS install the gas tank and some landscaping is the items left to complete. It will house an engine, tanker, medical/brush truck. This will be a great for the folks in that area with quicker response times for emergencies and also huge fire insurance decrease for homeowners in that area that’s not in the rated fire district.

Cliffside Fire & Rescue is currently accepting applications for a full-time Firefighter/Engineer position. We are seeking a motivated, professional, and service-oriented individual to join our growing department and serve the Cliffside community.

Schedule: Modified LA (3 shifts – 2 personnel per shift)
Pay: Based on certifications & experience
Benefits Include:
