Come and experience the great community spirit of our little town. Shop owners will greet you warmly, restaurants will provide you with delicious delicacies and our local hotels will provide you with warm, comfortable rooms. Save the date for the 21st annual Brass in the Clouds, presented by the Arkansas Tech University Department of Music and Mount Nebo State Park.

Head to Sunset Point for an evening of live brass music as the sun begins to set over the Arkansas River Valley. It’s one of those uniquely Arkansas experiences that deserves a spot on your fall calendar. 🍂🎶

St. John Catholic School’s Harvest Fest 2026 is happening October 9–10 with food, bingo, live music, games, a glow run, and plenty of family fun. And it all supports St. John Catholic School!

🍝 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 Spaghetti Dinner | 4–6 PM
$15 adults | $7 kids ages 4–11 | Under 4 FREE
Dinner includes spaghetti, Petit Jean sausage, green beans, garlic bread, and dessert.

Our local law enforcement officers, first responders, and veterans give so much to protect, serve, and support the people of the River Valley. On September 11, our community has an opportunity to give something back.

Heroes Day is a special time to come together, serve lunch, and simply say thank you to the men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving others.

🤸‍♀️🇺🇸 BIG NEWS FOR ONE OF RUSSELLVILLE’S OWN!

We’re celebrating Russellville native Lila Richardson, who was officially named to the USA Gymnastics Senior National Team in August! ❤️🤍💙

After years of training, dedication, and hard work, Lila has reached an incredible milestone in her gymnastics career, earning a spot among some of the nation’s top gymnasts.

And no matter how far gymnastics takes her, Arkansas is still home. Lila credits her family here as her biggest support system throughout her journey.

From Russellville to the national stage, we’re incredibly proud to see one of our own reaching new heights! 🤸‍♀️✨

🍂🌊 September is here, and there’s plenty happening at Lake Dardanelle State Park!

The first half of the month is packed with opportunities to get outside, learn something new, and experience the lake with park interpreters. From kayaking and fishing to birding and hands-on activities for kids, there’s something happening almost every day.

Here are a few highlights to add to your calendar:

🛶 Lake Kayaking Excursions
Sept. 5 | 11 AM

Sept. 13 | 9 AM
Explore the coves of Lake Dardanelle with a park interpreter. Reservations are required at least one day in advance. $18 adults | $12 ages 6–12.

Sept. 5 | Fishing Knots
Sept. 6 | Catch of the Day
Plus more fishing activities throughout the month!

Many programs are FREE and require no registration. Kayaking excursions require advance registration by calling the Visitor Center at 479-967-5516.
