Last week, Saint Mary’s was proud to sponsor and attend Inspire. Connect. Impact: a Women in Leadership Luncheon hosted by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce.

This event was especially meaningful to our team, as we are grateful to have many women leading and serving across our health system.

It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating leadership, building connections and hearing from inspiring women who are making a difference in their workplaces, organizations and community.

At Saint Mary’s, preparedness is part of caring for our community.

Recently, we hosted the Arkansas Valley Health Care Coalition for a First Receiver Decontamination class led by First Line Technology. Participants from area hospitals trained on how to safely respond to biological, chemical and radiological exposures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and decontamination procedures.

Trainings like this help ensure local health care teams are ready to protect patients, staff and the community in the event of an emergency.
