The work of Habitat for Humanity doesn't just happen on construction days. It takes people who are willing to give their time, talents, and hard work throughout the week to help prepare lots, maintain properties, support events, and so much more.

I just happened to catch Mr. Lee out today but we are blessed with an incredible group of men we call the "core team" that constantly step up for us.

To every volunteer who lends a hand—whether you're swinging a hammer, mowing grass, serving on a committee, or helping behind the scenes—thank you.

We're excited to bring back one of our favorite nights of the year!

Join us on July 17 for Habitat for Humanity of Pope County's 2nd Annual Celebrity Waiter Event—an evening filled with great food, lots of laughs, and a chance to make a real difference for local families.

As we prepare for this special event, we're looking for silent auction items and experiences to help make the night even more memorable. Gift baskets, handmade items, services, event tickets, vacation stays, unique experiences, and business donations are all welcome.

Every item donated helps raise funds to build safe, affordable housing and create brighter futures right here in Pope County.

It's not too late to get your tickets for this super cute playhouse!! Drawing will be held on July 17!

Surprise!!! It's time for something fun!!

This morning this adorable, custom built, playhouse will be parked outside Russellvilles Ridout Lumber Company. Stop by, give it a look and then call/text 479-857-4656 or email [email protected] to get your tickets!! (If you contact us over the weekend leave a message and we'll get back with you on Monday! 😁)

All proceeds of this raffle will go towards the completion of house #7 (we will be announcing the new homeowner partner for this build soon so make sure you keep an eye out for that exciting news!!)!

Something super fun about this cute little playhouse, all the materials were donated by local partners, Ridout Lumber Company - Russellville and Miller Roofing Company, the use of the trailer to haul the playhouse donated by Arkansas Tire and the playhouse itself was built by an incredible group of ladies that are part of a team called Sister-Corps! Over the next week we will be sharing more about Sister-Corps and photos from their build days! Their time and labor was completely donated, we are beyond thankful for these ladies! And one final shoutout to our incredible Habitat volunteers, Ken Vess, Lee Puckett and Steve Wolfe for delivering materials to our Sister-Corps ladies out in Guy and for picking up the playhouse and getting it back to Russellville safely! You guys are the best!

We will be drawing for this playhouse at our Celebrity Waiter event this summer, exact date to be announced soon!

What a special afternoon celebrating the groundbreaking of House #7 for the Hentschel family! 🏡✨

Thank you to everyone who came out on May 14th to support this exciting new chapter — our vendors, contractors, community partners, volunteers, family, and friends. Your presence, encouragement, and willingness to stand with us means more than words can express.

We are especially grateful for the opportunity to gather together to pray over and bless this home build and the Hentschel family as they begin this journey toward homeownership. It takes a community working together to make dreams like this possible, and we are thankful for each person who plays a part.

We cannot wait to watch this house become a home! ❤️🔨

Due to the potential for severe weather this afternoon, we’ve made the decision to postpone today’s groundbreaking ceremony that was scheduled for 4:00 p.m. The safety of our community, volunteers, and partners is our top priority.

We’re just as excited as ever to celebrate this special milestone, and a new date and time will be announced within the next couple of days—so be sure to keep an eye on our page and get it on your calendar when it’s posted!
