On December 8, 2025 Officer Christopher Tweedy was on patrol when he stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on U.S. 127. An on scene investigation took place and a passenger, Tiffany Murray, 38 of Jamestown was taken into custody for the following charge:

- TRAFFICKING IN SYNTHETIC DRUGS - 1ST OFFENSE

*UPDATE

We do not normally address inconsistencies in the comment section, but since some people are making up details on their own we decided to clarify a few things. Attached is an additional picture of the items that were seized from the traffic stop. Items that are illegal to possess in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Which is why they were purchased from out of state and transported across state lines. The vehicle was stopped because they were driving around in the dark with their headlights off, and for obvious reasons there was a strong odor of ma*****na coming from the vehicle. Officer Christopher Tweedy is an outstanding officer that works hard everyday to keep the community of Russell Springs safe. If any individual has an issue with the laws of our Commonwealth then that is a matter for your state government, but until the laws change we will continue to enforce the law to the best of our ability. Thank you and God bless.
