Lady Lakers Finish 2nd at The Pines!

The Lady Lakers battled their way to a 2nd-place finish out of 12 teams today at The Pines, falling just 4 strokes short of Adair County! ⛳️

Carly Shearer led the way with a 79, followed by:

Porter Branscum — 98
Karly Stapp — 101

Today CP English 1 wrapped up their Poetry Anthology project with their very own Poetry Café!

Students were given a theme, researched and analyzed published poems connected to that theme, and then wrote an original poem of their own. They brought it all together in a Poetry Anthology and today shared their anthologies and original poems with the class. 📖✨
