Be careful if you must be in the roads tonight. Highland township vfd was out and shut down 948 for sheffield for trucks on Brookston hill and Kane VFD came out to shut down 66 James City hill... they are both currently open again for now.

I think we have some really great people in our little piece of the world. This evening while most of us were getting ready to sit down for dinner we were hit with some mother nature fury. Trees and power lines down, roadways not passable and winds like crazy. Our fire department was called out to start clearing route 66 but there was a big tree down and power lines across the main road out of James City and our fire truck couldn't make it to the highway. Some of the guys from James City stopped to help so we were able to get things cleared up and passable in no time.
