Rest In Peace Apollo

Officer K9- Apollo passed away today of a sudden illness. Apollo had started in 2011 as a K-9 for the Schuyler County Sheriff's Dept and later with the Rushville Police Department.
Apollo worked for almost 9 years. He had injured his leg in training in 2017, and after surgery returned to work 2 more years.
He had just retired due to some problems he was having with his leg, and enjoying the life of retirement.

It was so awesome to be able to paint the last little bit of red we had left! We are so thankful for the support our community has shown us. We cannot wait to welcome our newest officer to town!

We would like to thank everyone for the generosity we have received. We are so excited to announce we have not only met but we have exceeded our minimal financial goal. With that being said, we would like to continue to raise funds and accept donations for the future cost we will endure.

We would like to thank everyone that came out to meet Drax, shoot some guns, and bid on our silent auction items. We are continually blown away by the support our community shows us. We apologize to those that did not get to shoot due to running out of ammo. Special thanks to Schuyler County Shooters and Down Range Ordinance. 🐾
