Appreciate the hard work, dedication, and determination of our men and women. It’s been a busy few days restoring power across the beautiful state of Alabama.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers who sacrifice every day — whether you’re out working on the lines, keeping things running in the back office, or holding down the home while waiting for your line worker to return safely.

Your strength, dedication, and love do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do, and we hope you enjoy your special day.

Our Southern yard General Foremen from Florida and Tennessee made the trip up to West Virginia for our quarterly management meeting. While this wasn’t the entire team, we’re thankful for the family atmosphere and strong culture we continue to build across Appalachian Utility Services.

Superintendent Bubby Walker took part of our management team out on the river in the mountain’s for some time together outside the office. The weather may have been a little rainy, but the fish were still landed.

Moments like these remind us what this industry is all about building relationships, talking strategy, preparing for future events, and continuing to grow together as a team and as a family.

We appreciate every member of the AU family and look forward to what’s ahead.
