It’s that time!! We are so excited to be hiring for the 2026 summer and beyond! Please stop at City Hall if you are interested in being a lifeguard or swim instructor this summer. Applications are available in the recreation department. The applications are all due by April 24th. If you do not have a Lifeguard certification we will be offering a class. Returning employees please text Chelsey if you are interested in returning.

The update we all have been waiting for! The pool is not yet open but we are getting closer everyday. The planned opening date is June 1st. With that being said, we want to thank everyone for their patience in this process. There has been a lot of work both outside and inside that have been completed.

Many people have reached out asking for pricing on all things pool (season passes, daily swim, punch pass and family pass). We don’t have those answers yet but we will provide that when we do.

This has been a big project, and while we’re making great strides, there’s still more to be done. We are continuing to seek donations to help fund the next phase and truly appreciate the community’s ongoing support.

The pool is a huge part of the community and we can’t wait to get back up and running! See you soon!

'Tis the season! Many of you have asked about Rupert Pool season passes — they’re not available for purchase just yet, but we do have gift certificates that can be used toward them later! Visit the Rec Department to pick one up and give the gift of summer fun!

Here is the dome in action! The expanded appearance of the pool is remarkable. Although the dome is now installed, there is still work to be done inside. We look forward to opening the pool for year-round use. We are greatful for such a supportive community!

It’s happening! The pool is coming together so well. DynaDome has been incredible, and their part will be finished soon. There’s still work ahead, but what an exciting milestone to celebrate!
