Four in ten New Mexicans rely on Medicaid, and for some of them, the coverage could start disappearing on January 1st because of what’s coming out of Washington.
Whoever sits on the 4th floor of the Roundhouse next year needs to protect people, not just manage the fallout. Deb and I are ready to stand that line. That means building up our Medicaid Trust Fund, and working toward a public option so the people who fall through the cracks still have somewhere to go.
No New Mexican should go without healthcare.
