We’re proud to celebrate two outstanding leaders from the Royal School District who were recognized at the WASA Awards Banquet held May 19 in Yakima.
Congratulations to Dain Craver, recipient of the Community Leadership Award, for his dedication, partnership, and continued commitment to supporting students, staff, and the Royal community.
We also congratulate Ashley Popoca, recipient of the Student Leadership Award, for demonstrating exceptional leadership, service, and positive impact both in and out of the classroom.
These honors reflect the strength of leadership throughout the Royal School District, and we are incredibly proud of both Dain and Ashley for representing our community so well. Please join us in celebrating their achievements! 🎉👏

Friendly reminder- Kinder registration packets are due May 15.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is a friendly reminder to please turn in your child’s kindergarten registration packet by May 15th.

Submitting these packets on time is very important, as it helps us plan for staffing and personnel needs for the 2026–2027 school year. Having an accurate count of incoming students ensures we are fully prepared to support every child from the very first day.

If you have already submitted your packet, thank you! If not, we kindly ask that you do so as soon as possible.
Please contact the school office if you have any questions or need assistance.

Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating excellence across our district at our Pride & Excellence Banquet! 🌟
We proudly recognized our Certificated Employee of the Year, Kori Russell; our Classified Employee of the Year, Elizabeth Carmona; WASA Community Leadership Award recipient, Dain Craver; and WASA Student Leadership Award recipient, Ashley Popoca. Congratulations to each of you on this well-deserved recognition!
A special thank you to our talented CTE students who helped make the evening unforgettable. Our Culinary Arts students prepared a delicious dinner and dessert, while our Floriculture students created beautiful floral centerpieces that truly elevated the event.
We are so proud of the dedication, talent, and heart that make our district such a special place. 💙

Today, we celebrate our amazing school bus drivers! 🚌💛

Each day, they safely transport our most precious cargo—our students—to and from school, activities, and events.

Beyond the drive, they build relationships, create a welcoming environment, and help students start and end their day on a positive note.
