🎉 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT SOUTHERN MIDDLE SCHOOL! 🎉

Our Panthers showed up and showed everyone what is possible! 🐾💙

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 2025–26 school year testing results at Southern Middle School:

⭐ 66 School Performance Score — up 4 points from last year and our highest score in 5 years!

📈 90.4 Growth Score — significantly above the state average!

These numbers represent more than scores—they represent hard work, growth, perseverance, and the incredible impact of our students and staff.

📚✨ Learning in Action! ✨📚

Here are some pictures from today’s 6th Grade Social Studies Gallery Walk! 🐾

Our Panthers became historians for the day as they explored and analyzed some of the earliest technologies used by early humans. Students examined artifacts, discussed their purposes, and thought critically about how these early innovations helped humans survive and adapt. 🪨🔥

We love seeing our students learning, collaborating, and making connections in the classroom! 💙🖤
