The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) is scheduled to hold a final vote on Friday, September 4, 2026, regarding revised high school social studies and personal financial literacy standards. The meetings run from Monday, August 31 through Friday, September 4, at the Barbara Jordan Building 1601 N. Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas.
PTA members are encouraged to review the proposed TEKS revisions and contact the SBOE Board to share their feedback, questions, or concerns.
